GIS Ostrava 2021 conference

The event will be held in March 17-19, 2021 in Ostrava, the Czech Republic under an auspices of ISPRS.

Keynote speakers are prof. Stephan Michael Weiss (Alpen-Adria-Universitat Klagenfurt) and Dr. Guenther Retscher (TU Wien). Besides standard presentation and poster sessions three workshops will be realized, from which one will be given by prof. Stephan Michael Weiss (Visual-Inertial Navigation: Basics and Beyond), the second by Dr. Guenther Retscher (Techniques and Systems for Wi-Fi Positioning) and the third by Dr. Paolo Dabove (Politecnico di Torino, GNSS positioning using low-cost receivers for pedestrian navigation and mapping applications).

Event is being prepared for a personal attendance, however in case of an unfavourable epidemiological situation individual participants will be able to attend remotely or the whole conference will be realized virtually.

Submissions in a form of extended abstracts can be registered till January 10, 2020. The authors of accepted extended abstracts are encouraged to submit their full paper to the conference Joint special issue in the journal Sensors (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sensors/special_issues/ALN) and in the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijgi/special_issues/GIS_Ostrava_2021), where it will undergo a standard MDPI submission process.  Guest editors of the Joint special issue are members of the conference scientific committee.
